This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved mother, Nana, and friend, Darlene White who was born on June 10, 1943 and passed away on November 14, 2004 at the age of 61. She fought a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis, tried so many types of treatments. After complications from being bed ridden due to the MS, she passed away at San Juoaquin Memorial Hospital. I myself visited her in the hospital and spent some very special and sacred moments with her just days before she passed on. We, her family and friends know in our hearts that she now is in a wonderful place where she will have no more pain, and she will walk and run, yet be with us in our hearts forevermore. She will be greatly missed and her memories will be cherished by those who love her the most. She has left behind 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and a wonderful man named Ron who loves her and cares for her with all of his heart. So please stay here a while and pay tribute, light a candle, browse through pictures, listen to a song or two and just remember whatever influence it was that she has had on your life.
I am saddened to add to this site that following her into eternity was Ron G. Francisco whom she had only left behind for less than one month before he passed on as well. We know in our hearts that he is with her now again caring for her and loving her just as he did for many years....Ron and Darlene will be greatly missed.
I am amazed to add that this site has been visited 2004 times as of today, September 23, 2005. I would like to thank all who have taken the time to visit and celebrate a wonderful life that was shared by many. Not a day goes by that a memory doesn't trickle into my mind. Although my mother will be greatly missed...I celebrate her and who she was, and hope that you can join me in that celebration, by adding a tribute, lighting candle, or just browsing through the photos. Thank you!
From your children:
Yours were the first eyes I looked into. Yours were the first arms to hold me tight. You were the first to show me never-ending love and compassion. Forever . . . you are my mother And I am blessed.
ICan Only Imagine by Mercy Me
I can only imagine What it will be like When I walk By your side
I can only imagine What my eyes will see When your face Is before me I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel Will I dance for you Jesus or in awe of you be still Will I stand in your presence or to my knees will I fall Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all I can only imagine
I can only imagine When that day comes And I find myself Standing in the Sun
I can only imagine When all I will do Is forever Forever worship You
I can only imagine I can only imagine
I can only imagine When all I will do Is forever, forever worship you

What is a legacy? Legacy: something that is handed down or remains from a previous generation or time.
What has she left for us? What is her legacy? She has taught us to always have a sense of humor, to smile through the worst of things, and to always stand up for what you believe in. She has taught us that family is one of the most important things in life and being together matters the most. She has taught us the imortance of the smell of a Thanksgiving turkey, the taste of Christmas sugar cookies, and the feel of a chocolate pie in your mouth...especially while in the presence of family. She has taught us to appreciate the smaller things in life, like "Andy Griffith" and "peanut butter stuff " on toast. She has not left for us material things, but only things that can be appreciated by the heart.
